Why this network exists

A mission
with
Heart & Science,
now
needs a
community.

Our work is powerful. What has been missing, until now, is a standing community in the United States to carry it forward. The Young Professionals Network is not a volunteer programme.

It is a gathering of mid-career professionals, South Asian diaspora and allies who bring their networks, their skills, and their voices to advance a cause rooted in both compassion and curiosity.

The Young Professionals Network runs on real projects. Each year, Prakash publishes a portfolio of open projects, events, pro bono work, corporate partnerships, advisory engagements. Members pick what fits their skills and schedule, apply directly, and roll up their sleeves. No committees. No politics. Just the work.

Flexible Commitment.
Real Contribution.

Youth Ambassadors can fundraise for Project Prakash's overall mission, or focus their campaign on one of our four pillars of work.

Each campaign you run, each dollar you raise, contributes directly to one of these areas.

OUTREACH

Mobile screening camps in remote villages across India that identify children with treatable blindness, many of whom have never seen a doctor before.
